These pages are a collection of information pertaining to the life, history and family of John McTurk Gibson. Gibson immigrated from Scotland to America around 1850. He first came to Iowa, where he met and married his wife, Olive Caroline Givens, in Marengo. Later, they moved to a homestead in Jefferson county, Nebraska, where they both lived out their lives.
